Atul N. Shah, PE, PP, F.ASCE

President

As President of ANS Consultants, Atul leads up to 60 full-time employees, consisting of Professional Engineers, senior engineers, project managers and technicians. On any given day, ANS Consultants, and its sister firm, ANS Geo, has over 60 projects, which Atul manages directly with a personal touch.

Atul manages nearly all aspects of construction-phase inspections projects from asphalt placement and testing to soil compaction, driven pile integrity, concrete casting, welding inspection, and more daily. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 11 states, a Professional Planner, and a NJ DEP Sub-Surface Evaluator. He is involved in over 15 professional organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the American Welding Society, and much more. He takes an active role in each of these organizations, and he is recognized in each for his passion for the advancement of the engineering profession.

Aside from his numerous contributions to the engineering profession, Atul is a philanthropist within the Indo-American community. He is always sponsoring and spearheading events such as cultural dance exhibitions for children in Somerset County and tri-state colleges, musical concerts for senior citizens, arts and theaters performances which several of his employees take part in, as well as reunion events for alma mater of his undergraduate and graduate colleges.

He is actively involved in his Township’s Board of Health for over 20 years and his peers often comment on his energetic passion for fun while still improving the good of the public. Atul has also been a coordinator for the NSPE MATHCOUNTS program for the last 16. years and continues to work in this program. His tremendous integrity, energy, forward-thinking, and leadership skills are traits that he passes down to his team and staff.

As the visionary and founder of ANS Consultants and ANS Geo, Atul is serious about his passion toward quality control and honest business. He has touched a countless amount of landmark and notable projects throughout the tri-state area, including Yankee Stadium and Metlife Stadium, Rutgers’, NJIT, Montclair State, and other academic institutions, the 2nd Avenue Subway and over 150 New Jersey Transit Stations, to all three international airports in the NYC-metro area.
